Excellence is a Practice

And practice takes time, effort and repeated practice to succeed

We had a bad show. It’s rough. But you know what? It was a great opportunity to practice what I preach about what to do after a bad show.

And it offered an epiphany when watching players who perhaps could have played better versus newbie players who tried their hardest.

Skills are like muscles — repeated usage, especially in difficult conditions, can make you stronger or better at doing it. I saw someone try really, really hard, and I realised it was an echo for the excellence and hard work and tryhard in her everyday life.

Also, Jacky pointed out that either everybody regularly practices, or no show. I agree.

Time to practice.
